Job summary

Upper Valley Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Access Specialist to oversee patient access operations, assist with audits, and ensure high levels of customer service. The role includes financial assessment, co-pay collection, and coordinating registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes.

Qualifications

• Requires minimal education background with high school completion or GED.
• Associates degree preferred in healthcare or related business field.
• Medical Terminology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial counseling, collecting co-pays and deductibles.
• Handle registration, scheduling, and data entry in ADT system.
• Obtain pre-certifications when applicable and ensure regulatory compliance.
