Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in parcel transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations with leadership experience.
• Experience managing parcel carrier relationships, contract negotiations, and transportation budgets.
• Experience with TMS platforms, parcel shipping software, BI tools, and logistics analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with national parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and regional providers.
• Develop and maintain a diversified carrier strategy to optimize costs and service levels.
• Monitor carrier performance and SLAs; conduct reviews and corrective action planning.
• Serve as primary escalation point for major delivery disruptions and tracking challenges.
• Manage the parcel logistics budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Conduct cost-to-serve analyses and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Lead implementation and optimization of TMS and multi-carrier platforms.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure on-time delivery, cost per package, transit time, and customer satisfaction.
