Job summary

Columbia University Facilities & Operations seeks a Head Pantry Worker for Columbia Dining Services. You will lead the pantry team, assist chefs with cold prep, and interact with customers to prepare customized meals.

Responsibilities include planning daily menus for the pantry, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and coordinating orders and storage. The role requires a high school diploma and prior pantry experience is a plus.

• Experience as Pantry Worker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs all employees assigned to his/her section.
• Plans, lays out, and assigns work schedule and duties.
• Assists in production and menu planning, quality control, safety, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Maintains records and performs clerical duties as prescribed by Dining Services.
• Serves the menu of the day as prescribed by Dining Services.
• Orders, receives and stores food and supplies; maintains records.
• Ensures compliance with Dining Services rules.
