Job summary

AirOps is seeking an engine builder to own, optimize, and scale its high-volume outbound infrastructure. You will manage the technical plumbing powering 500K+ monthly emails across multiple client accounts, ensuring performance goals are met.

Role spans outbound strategy, email infrastructure, deliverability, and AI-driven experimentation, with a transition plan to automate the custom outbound stack within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience managing 100K+ emails per month across multi-account setups.
• Proven ability to design and optimize data enrichment and personalization pipelines.
• Understands outbound infrastructure, deliverability, and domain health.

Responsibilities

• Own system-wide outbound performance and output guarantees across all client accounts.
• Design, maintain, and scale the outbound backend and sending architecture for 500K+ monthly emails.
• Build a systematic testing engine for subject lines, messaging variations, and sending schedules.
• Own and refine prompt systems and LLM workflows for outbound copy and personalization at scale.
• Bridge campaign operations and product development as the internal technical expert on cold email systems.
• Codify outbound best practices into internal playbooks for consistent execution.
