Qualifications

• Must hold Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• NBEO examinations completed and current license to practice optometry in US territory will be required.
• 1 year of specialized experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular conditions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for optometry patients through exams and diagnosis.
• Coordinate medical eye care with other physicians within the clinic.
• Supervise and direct the Optometry Department including performance evaluations, recruitment, budget, policies and procedures.
• Assist with screening programs, school programs and diabetic retinopathy.
• Fulfill on-call requirements and maintain licensure and privileges.
