Job summary

MMF Vision Center is seeking an experienced Optician to oversee the optical department within our ophthalmology practice. You will provide advanced optical expertise, supervise staff, and ensure accurate interpretation and fulfillment of prescriptions.

This role also manages inventory and vendor relationships, monitors financial performance, and delivers exceptional patient service. You will collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and administrative personnel to maintain

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
ABO certification highly preferred.
NCLE certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an optician required.
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, measurements, and dispensing protocols.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the optical department within an ophthalmology practice.
Provide advanced optical expertise and supervise optician staff.
Interpret and fulfill prescriptions accurately.
