You will guide patients through frame selection, dispensing, repairs, and adjustments, while maintaining HIPAA compliance, workflow efficiency, and accurate records. ABO certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or optical environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer operating systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Patient care and dispensing: assist with frame selection, fitting, dispensing, repairs and adjustments.
• Clinical operations: support daily office duties, opening/closing procedures, maintain clean workspace.
• Inventory management: oversee frames, lenses, parts and supplies; monitor trends for selection.
• Technical expertise: explain lens technology and frame materials to educate patients.
• Administrative excellence: maintain patient records and process insurance claims.
• Collaboration and growth: work with doctors and clinic staff to promote optical services.
• Compliance: adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety standards in all interactions.
• Phone and communications: manage multi-line calls with professionalism.
