Eyemart Express in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Lead Optical Retail Associate (Key Holder) to drive customer satisfaction and store performance. This full-time role combines sales leadership with hands-on eyewear expertise to assist patients and ensure accurate prescriptions.

You will oversee daily operations, support the team, and uphold Eyemart Express standards while promoting promotions and policies. The position offers competitive pay and benefits and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Experience in the optical industry preferred.
• Experience in a lead or management position preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prescription specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure prescription information is accurate for grinding and fitting lenses.
• Dispense glasses and educate patients on care.
• Help the store open and close as needed.
• Provide exceptional service and knowledge of promotions and policies regarding payment, returns, and exchanges.
• Process payments/refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Perform other administrative tasks and maintain patient files.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist in stocking merchandise.
