Eyemart Express in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Lead Optical Retail Associate (Key Holder) to deliver outstanding customer service and support store operations. You will guide patients in selecting eyewear, manage prescription details, and contribute to a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes leadership in retail, eye care knowledge, and excellence in guest experience, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in everyday tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales.
• Experience in optical industry preferred.
• Experience in lead/management role preferred.
• Ability to read prescriptions and input into computer for lens grinding.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure prescription accuracy for grinding, coating, and fitting lenses to frames.
• Dispense completed glasses and educate patients on care.
• Open/close store in coordination with management.
• Provide exceptional service and maintain knowledge of promotions, payments, returns and policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Perform administrative tasks including processing insurance claims and maintaining patient files.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist in stocking merchandise.
