Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, determine needs, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and facility policies. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to advance mobility, strength, balance, and independence.

You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, provide in-services, maintain compliant documentation, educate residents and families on treatment goals and home

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; license in good standing as required by state.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Proficient in electronic health records and clinical documentation.
• Experience with therapy planning and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and trainees.
• Communicate progress and plans with physicians, nursing, and families.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Deliver in-services and training to facility staff.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Educate residents and families on home programs and safety strategies.
