PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and support the integrity of medical records. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to advance mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (MS/PhD preferred).
• Licensed OT in the state; continuing education requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork to interact with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain infection control and safety in treatment environment.
• Educate residents and caregivers on goals, home programs, and safety.
• Order and facilitate necessary durable medical equipment to support ADLs.
