Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls is seeking an R&D Project Manager to lead teams responsible for the design, irradiation, and post-irradiation examination of nuclear fuel and materials experiments within the Nuclear Fuels and Materials division.

You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and milestones, coordinating across quality, engineering, regulatory, and instrumentation groups, and represent INL with national and international partners to advance nuclear energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree with required years of experience.
• Experience with ASME NQA-1 2000 or equivalent quality programs.
• Ability to obtain DOE L clearance and US citizenship.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams through design, fabrication, irradiation, and post-irradiation examinations.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and milestones.
• Coordinate across disciplines incl. quality, regulatory, engineering, and instrumentation.
• Prepare Experiment Execution Plan and related documents.
• Interface with national and international partners.
• Submit monthly experiment highlight reports.
