Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Physical Security Design Manager to lead engineering efforts, collaborate with clients, and deliver innovative physical security solutions across multiple sites, including Birmingham, AL.

A PE license and 6+ years in design engineering with leadership are required. This role involves significant client interaction, cross-disciplinary guidance, and periodic travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or I&C Engineering (preferred).
• PE required for this position.
• Minimum 6 years of design engineering/technical experience with 2+ years of leadership.
• Experience with AIM, NSMART, or AVERT security platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience designing, installing, and testing physical security systems for nuclear plants (CAS/SAS, IDS, VMS, BRE, VBS, radios).
• Knowledge of NRC/NEI Security standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal engineering teams and clients to deliver innovative physical security designs.
• Provide technical leadership, review deliverables, and update management on progress.
• Facilitate issue resolution and drive quality assurance across disciplines.
• Plan and direct timely execution of engineering activities with project teams.
