Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Physical Security Design Manager for its Nuclear Services Group. The role involves leading engineering teams and collaborating with clients to deliver innovative physical security solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

You will drive project planning, provide technical leadership, and communicate progress to senior management. Travel to client sites is expected about 30% of the time as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or I&C Engineering; PE license required.
• Minimum 6 years of design engineering/technician experience; 2+ years leadership.
• Experience with AIM, NSMART, or AVERT security platforms preferred.
• Experience designing, installing, testing physical security systems for nuclear plants (CAS/SAS, IDS, VMS, BRE, VBS, radios).
• Knowledge of NRC/NEI Physical Security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with engineering teams and clients to deliver physical security solutions.
• Provide engineering leadership and review deliverables, ensuring compliance with requirements and regulations.
• Resolve cross-disciplinary issues and drive quality assurance.
• Plan and direct timely execution of engineering activities with updates to senior management.
