Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Physical Security Design Manager to lead engineering efforts in the Nuclear Services Group. You’ll build client relationships, guide engineering teams, and deliver secure physical security solutions for nuclear plants.

A PE license, a B.S. in Electrical or I&C Engineering, 6+ years design experience and 2+ years in leadership are required, with travel ~30% and NRC/NEI familiarity.

Qualifications

• PE is required for this position.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant design engineering and/or technician experience with 2 years of leadership.
• Experience with AIM, NSMART, or AVERT security platforms is highly preferred.
• Nuclear plant design experience and/or QA program exposure is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of NRC/NEI Physical Security principles, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Relationship building and client interaction with internal engineering teams and external clients, particularly in Physical Security.
• Provide direct engineering leadership and ensure designs meet contract requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Plan, direct, and communicate progress; research improvements and propose methods to senior management.
• Coordinate planning and execution of engineering activities with Project Engineer and management to ensure timely delivery.
