Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Physical Security Design Manager to lead engineering efforts in a client-focused environment. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver secure, compliant solutions for nuclear facilities.

You will drive technical discussions, guide design/testing of security systems, mentor staff, and ensure projects meet NRC/NEI standards while updating stakeholders on progress and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or I&C Engineering is preferred.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant design engineering/technician experience plus 2 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with AIM, NSMART, or AVERT security platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience with design, installation, and testing of physical security systems for nuclear power plants (CAS/SAS, IDS, VMS, BRE, VBS, radio subsystems).
• Nuclear plant design/QA experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships with internal engineering teams and external clients in Physical Security.
• Provide direct engineering support to project staff to meet requirements and standards; review deliverables and progress.
• Research and address technical/quality issues; propose methods and improvements.
• Plan and direct timely execution of engineering activities with updates to project management.
