Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a leading sensor technology and advanced manufacturing client. You will lead NPI programs from award through production launch, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and sales to hit on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management in high-tech environments, a technical engineering background, and strong communication with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or technical PM experience.
• Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from award through production launch.
• Background in sensors, MEMS, electromechanical products, or related technologies.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Sales.
• Strong project financial management experience including budgets, forecasting, cost targets, and reporting.
• Experience managing product development projects on time, on budget, and with high quality.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with APQP and Stage-Gate/Tollgate processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from business award through start of production.
• Manage NPI programs and product launch activities.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, investments, and revenue forecasts.
• Lead customer meetings and serve as the primary project point of contact.
• Drive scope management, change control, and risk mitigation activities.
• Facilitate tollgate and project status reviews with leadership teams.
• Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and archived.
• Drive accountability, action item completion, and project execution discipline.
• Support technical discussions and decision-making throughout development cycles.
