Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of PM/engineering project experience.
• Experience leading NPI projects from award to production launch.
• Background in sensors, medical devices, MEMS or electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from business award through start of production.
• Manage NPI programs and product launch activities.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, investments, and revenue forecasts.
• Lead customer meetings and serve as the primary project contact.
• Drive scope management, change control, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate tollgate and project status reviews with leadership teams.
• Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and archived.
• Drive accountability, action item completion, and project execution discipline.
• Support technical discussions and decision-making throughout development cycles.

Job description

• 5+ years of Project Management, Project Engineering, or Technical Project Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
• Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from award through production launch
• Background in sensors, medical devices, instrumentation, MEMS, electromechanical products, or similar technologies
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Sales
• Strong project financial management experience including budgets, forecasting, cost targets, and reporting
• Experience managing product development projects on time, on budget, and with high quality
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and challenge assumptions
• Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure

The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering foundation coupled with proven project leadership experience, enabling them to drive complex NPI programs from customer award through production launch.

This role requires a highly technical project leader who can effectively collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and commercial teams while managing project schedules, financials, risks, and customer relationships.
