You join a busy job shop environment that offers steady, hands‑on work with a wide variety of projects, giving you the opportunity to continuously sharpen and expand your welding skills. The role provides meaningful leadership responsibilities, allowing you to mentor other welders and influence daily operations in a tangible way. You work a consistent night shift schedule, which can support work‑life balance for those who prefer evenings and nights, and you have the chance to earn higher compensation by bringing advanced skills such as TIG pipe welding, supervisory experience, or Sub Arc capabilities.
The position is based in a busy job shop that operates on a night shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. The facility is semi climate controlled, offering a more comfortable environment than a fully open shop while still reflecting the realities of industrial welding work. You work with a variety of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, flux core, and potentially Sub Arc and stick, on structural and pipe applications. The environment is hands‑on and production‑driven, with multiple projects and changing priorities that require flexibility and focus.
