Job summary

Allina Health's Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an Assistant/Assistant Head Nurse for a part-time, 0.9 FTE night shift position. The RN will lead a team, coordinate care, and ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes on a 12-hour night schedule with every 3rd weekend rotation.

Required: RN license in MN/WI as applicable, 0–2 years experience, and Associate's/ Vocational degree; BLS/ACLS per unit.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0–2 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient and family assessment and care planning.
• Supervise progress and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Coordinate, collaborate and delegate to ensure safe, effective care.
• Fulfills all organizational requirements.
• Support roles: Charge Nurse and Preceptor when applicable.
