Job summary

Allina Health's Faribault Medical Surgical Unit seeks an experienced RN for a 0.75 FTE, 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). This permanent role includes every 3rd weekend/holiday and occasional orientation travel to Minneapolis.

The position is union-represented (MNA) and benefit eligible. Qualified candidates will hold an Associate's or Vocational degree with RN licensure in MN or WI as applicable, plus BLS and CMSRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional RN experience preferred.
• Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
• CMSRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and assess patient and family needs.
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise at unit level to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain competencies and apply evidence-based nursing practices.
• Involve patient and family in care planning with measurable outcomes.
• Support charge and preceptor roles as needed.
