Allina Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN. The role supports a diverse patient population with a focus on comprehensive assessments, care planning, and evidence-based practice.

The position is .7 FTE with an 8-hour night shift and every-other weekend rotation. Qualifications include MN RN license, BLS, ACLS/ALS per site, with CMSRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if working in MN upon hire
• WI Department of Safety & Professional Services required if working in WI upon hire
• CMSRN certification preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association/Red Cross or Allina in-house training within specified timelines
• Allina in-house ACLS training within 60 days of hire (location dependent)

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and development of an outcomes-based plan of care
• Supervise progress and modify the plan of care as needed
• Provide education to maintain competencies and deliver high-quality patient care
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe and effective care; act as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when assigned
