Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit on permanent night shifts in Hastings, MN. The nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population and work with a supportive team of charge nurses and preceptors.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, supervision of junior staff, and adherence to evidence-based practice while coordinating with families and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• RN license (MN) required if MN, WI license if WI.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC or in-house) required.
• CMSRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop plans of care.
• Provide care on Medical-Surgical unit with diverse patient population.
• Coordinate, supervise, and delegate care with charge and preceptor roles.
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with families and patients to achieve measurable outcomes.
