Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a permanent night shift at our Minneapolis facility. This 0.8 FTE position covers 64 hours per two-week pay period with an 8-hour shift and every-other weekend rotation.

You will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, participate in care planning, educate patients, and document findings using Allina site materials. Eligible candidates must have MN LPN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• LPN with MN Board licensure and an approved LPN program.
• 0–2 years of experience in medical terminology.
• 0–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within LPN scope.
• Collaborate with healthcare team under RN leadership.
• Document observations and interventions.
• Educate patients using Allina site materials.
• Establish therapeutic relationships and patient advocacy.
