Qualifications

• Formal training or certs in infrastructure engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP compute, storage, and networking.
• Deep knowledge of networking technologies (L0-3: DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA).
• Experience in the Americas telecom connectivity market and vendor ecosystems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across business and tech domains.
• AI capabilities in infrastructure analysis and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements capture with business and tech stakeholders; translate needs into defined solution requirements.
• Create end-to-end connectivity designs aligned to architectures; produce high/low-level designs and diagrams.
• Own tender and bid lifecycle for telecom connectivity; coordinate RFI/RFP activities and vendor selection.
• Embed resilience and operational risk controls into designs; define demarcation and escalation models.
• Lead design reviews and architecture governance; manage exceptions per engineering standards.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure architectures for critical apps and services.
• Collaborate with telecom providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure technically sound solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance governance; conduct quality and performance reviews.
• Support regional/global network strategy; mentor junior engineers and track technology trends.
