Job summary

JPMorgan Chase, a leader in financial services, seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to shape the Infrastructure Platforms within Network Services. You will apply deep knowledge of software, systems, and processes to design and deliver resilient, scalable infrastructure solutions across complex environments.

You will mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, and collaborate with risk, audit, and compliance to translate regulatory requirements into engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies across public/private clouds.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into sound engineering decisions with risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drives a workstream or project with infrastructure technologies and partners with other platforms to modernize processes.
• Considers upstream/downstream data implications and advises on mitigation actions.
• Applies technical depth to projects of moderate scope and develops creative solutions.
• Partner with risk, audit, and compliance; translate regulatory requirements into engineering decisions.
• Develops other engineers; leads architecture reviews and design discussions; mentors senior engineers.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and ensure traceability and security.
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options.
