Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms Team in San Francisco. You will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure discipline to drive performance and resilience across critical systems.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing evolution of technical capabilities, with a focus on secure, auditable, and scalable infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied infrastructure engineering experience.
Deep knowledge across hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, resilience or performance assessments.

Responsibilities

Applies technical expertise to projects of moderate scope for testing performance of the infrastructure.
Drives a workstream or project involving multiple infrastructure technologies and collaborates with other platforms.
Considers upstream/downstream data implications and advises on mitigation actions.
Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices in delivery and automation to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options.
