Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive the design, deployment, and operations of large-scale enterprise networks within the Corporate Sector – Enterprise Network team.

You will apply software, automation, and cloud knowledge to deliver reliable infrastructure, mentor engineers, and partner with application and security teams to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Formal infrastructure engineering certification or training.
• 5+ years of full stack network design and deployment (focusing on Arista switches).
• Experience with broadcast network architecture and SMPTE ST 2110 standards and IP-based media workflows.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple clouds.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope with end-to-end monitoring.
• Resolves most issues and sets escalation paths.
• Executes conventional approaches to solve problems.
• Drives daily activities supporting capacity processes.
• Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify capacity risks and remediation statuses.
• Considers upstream/downstream data and systems implications.
• Makes significant decisions for multi-technology projects.
