Job summary

Smart Build is seeking a Construction Project Manager – Multifamily Renovations to lead and scale complex rehab and capex projects across client sites. You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while enforcing OSHA safety standards and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will coordinate with property teams, vendors, and field staff, documenting progress and optimizing workflows for efficiency and client satisfaction. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven success in managing multifamily rehab and capex projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep projects on track without micromanaging.
• Confidence using Excel, SmartSheets, and construction management tools.
• Strong network of reliable subs across key trades is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple rehab and capital improvement projects across different client sites.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, scopes of work, and cost breakdowns.
• Organize and track inventory, materials, and deliveries across multiple locations.
• Maintain OSHA and internal safety compliance procedures.
• Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractors across various trades.
• Schedule and manage production timelines, coordinating closely with subcontractors and property teams.
• Track project progress with documentation and milestone tracking.
• Maintain and use project management software to keep stakeholders informed and organized.
