Job summary

Brookside Properties in Oxford, MS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations for our 49-home community. You will perform preventive maintenance, complete service requests, and respond to after-hours calls to keep the property in top condition.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, strong HVAC skills, and EPA Type II or Universal certification is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Strong HVAC experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and after-hours maintenance ability.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations for the community.
• Complete service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls.
• Coordinate vendors and supervise maintenance staff.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company policies.
• Deliver professional, responsive service to residents.
• Take ownership of the community's physical condition.
