Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Lockerbie Lofts in Indianapolis, IN. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and ensure safe, well-maintained living spaces on-site daily.

You’ll manage requests, coordinate with the Property Manager, and handle vendors while mentoring your team and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification required or preferred.
• Experience leading a maintenance team in multifamily housing or similar setting.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the property's maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Oversee all maintenance operations including preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) operate safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize requests and projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work for quality and timeliness.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Promote safety standards and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• Train, mentor, and develop the maintenance team.
