CGL is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise maintenance staff across multiple sites, ensuring timely repair, maintenance, and installation of building MEP systems, life safety, and security. The role emphasizes safety, cost efficiency, and effective team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance or related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Criminal Justice, Public Admin or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of facility management or related correctional facility experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of skilled commercial maintenance experience in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Locksmith, Life Safety or related areas.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises employees, including hiring, firing, and performance management with onboarding and training.
• Reviews job requests and sets workload priorities daily.
• Oversees maintenance of MEP systems and life safety equipment.
• Performs routine facility inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Implements policies to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and maintains safety standards.
• Interacts professionally with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Maintains records and reports on work orders and staff performance.
• Drives company vehicle or uses personal vehicle for company business more than 50% of the time.
