Job summary

Columbia Forest Products is seeking a maintenance professional to lead a team and oversee safety, quality, and productivity in a heavy equipment environment. The role involves directing emergency calls, PMs, and maintenance tasks, with responsibility for capital projects and installations.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and a track record of maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Ability to trouble shoot equipment (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical).
• Maintain clean and safe maintenance workplace.

Responsibilities

• Directs team members work (Emergency calls, PM’s, ETC.).
• Oversees team members safety, quality, and productivity.
• Assist in capital projects including constructions, fabrications, and installation of equipment.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Maintain heavy equipment.
• Ability to complete preventative maintenance and work orders assigned.
• Notifies Team Leads if standard work cannot be followed.
