Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs on light, medium, and heavy trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will serve as a lead, triaging complex issues and coordinating on-site service with customers nationwide.

Ideal candidates have ASE certifications, 3+ years with refrigerated equipment, and the ability to manage parts on a service truck while maintaining documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field or 5 years with alternative qualifications.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must supply hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Document work using iOS TRAIT app and RO forms.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain inventory and manage parts on service truck.
