Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on a range of trucks and trailers, using hand tools and Diesel tools.

The ideal candidate holds a HS diploma with 3+ years in the field, ASE/Fleet certifications preferred, and a valid DOT card. Cox Fleet offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years in related field.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment is not required for this role.
• DOT/regulatory compliance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain and operate company vehicle, conduct safety checks, and complete documentation on RO and TRAIT app.
