Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking an MEP Superintendent for the North TX Division in Dallas. You will lead day-to-day field activities, supervise MEP trades, and drive safety and performance on complex commercial projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating installations, reviewing plans and schedules, and collaborating with owners, architects, and city officials to ensure on-time completion and compliance with codes. Strong leadership and MEP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• BS in construction management/science or engineering preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (required within first year)
• 5–8 years of commercial construction field experience, with MEP exposure

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities on assigned jobsite.
• Ensure safety plans are implemented and followed.
• Coordinate installations across trades to prevent interference.
• Review drawings, submittals, and schedules to plan manpower and materials.
• Direct field engineers and crew through layout and site surveys.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, and inspectors to resolve issues.
• Support cost and schedule updates with the project team.
