Job summary

Austin Commercial, Houston Division, is seeking an MEP Superintendent with an electrical background to lead complex commercial projects. The role requires strong supervisory experience in MEP coordination and a thorough understanding of codes, safety, and on-site execution.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in commercial construction, a BS in construction management or engineering, and experience reading plans. This full-time on-site position offers competitive benefits and ESOP ownership.

Qualifications

Proficient with reading plans and specs.
Ability to build and manage high performing teams.

Responsibilities

Evaluates design complexity and estimates construction costs and maintenance.
Serves as a technical resource to owners and architects.
Attends weekly meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors to coordinate work.
Coordinates shop drawings between subs to reduce design errors.
Ensures compliance with building codes and safety requirements.
Plans daily and weekly activities for each craft within the construction schedule.
Provides technical guidance to resolve day-to-day construction problems.
