Responsibilities include coordinating phlebotomist work, serving as Charge MT in admin absence, and ensuring proper transportation of lab supplies and specimens.

The role emphasizes adherence to CAP/CLSI standards, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with hospital staff and patients.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ASCP certification required.
• Driver's license required by MS DPS.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate phlebotomist workflow in Specimen Processing.
• Serve as Charge MT in absence of supervisor or Lead MT.
• Ensure accurate transportation of lab supplies, equipment and specimens.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and laboratory regulations.
• Communicate effectively with NMHS staff, patients and families.
• Provide CARES training and assist with service recovery when needed.
• Document instrument maintenance and quality control monthly.
