Qualifications

• Experience coordinating workflow in a medical laboratory or pathology setting.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage daily operations.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate phlebotomist workflow in Specimen Processing area.
• Serve as Charge Medical Technologist in absence of supervisor or Lead MT.
• Ensure accurate, timely transportation of lab supplies, equipment and specimens.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines for handling and labeling specimens.
• Communicate effectively with NMHS staff, patients, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service and perform service recovery when needed.
• Maintain documentation for instrument maintenance and quality control.
• Assist with training of students and new employees.
