Responsibilities

• Coordinates phlebotomists workflow in Specimen Processing.
• Serves as Charge Medical Technologist in absence of supervisor or Lead MT.
• Assures accurate transportation of lab-related supplies, equipment and specimens.
• Follows regulatory guidelines in handling/processing of laboratory specimens.
• Communicates effectively with NMHS staff, patients, and caregivers.
• Attends CARES training and ensures proper service recovery when needed.
• Assists with training of students and new employees.
• Maintains documentation of instrument maintenance and quality control.
