Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist Lead to assist with scheduling, quality control, maintenance programs and workflow organization within the lab.

The role also ensures proper transportation of lab supplies, equipment, and specimens while complying with applicable laws and regulations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, ASCP certification, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science or related field.
• ASCP certification.
• DL number - Driver license valid in state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates phlebotomists workflow in Specimen Processing.
• Acts as Charge MT in absence of supervisor or Lead MT.
• Ensures accurate transportation of lab supplies, equipment and specimens.
• Follows regulatory guidelines and properly identifies specimens.
