Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant science required.
• 2–3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• MT/MLS (ASCP) or MT/MLS eligible under regulations.
• MLT (ASCP) or eligible under Medical Laboratory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for multiple laboratory sections to ensure timely testing.
• Troubleshoot instrument/test issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure reflex testing, delta checks, and critical value verification.
• Oversee specimen integrity and collaborate with nursing and phlebotomy.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state requirements.
• Coordinate competency assessments and staff training.
• Support safety, biosafety, and risk management practices.
• Monitor metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives.
