Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology and 3 years of non-waived testing.
• CLIA high complexity testing qualifications per CFR 493.1489.
• Diploma or transcripts must be provided; education verified.
• Education from outside the US requires English translation and foreign equivalency proof.
• Lab training/experience can be via internship or full/part-time non-waived testing hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing compliantly and maintain regulatory knowledge.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or report them to supervisors.
• Educate and train students, employees, and residents in theory and procedures.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of laboratory instruments and procedures.
