Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Medical Technologist Lead to support supervision, scheduling, quality control, and workflow in the Amory Lab. You will help ensure accurate transport of specimens and supplies, while adhering to all regulations.

The role requires strong LIS experience, good communication, and commitment to quality and patient safety. You will train staff, participate in continuous improvement, and work closely with pathologists and hospital teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of CAP/CLSI standards and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate phlebotomists workflow in Specimen Processing.
• Serve as Charge Medical Technologist in absence of supervisor.
• Ensure accurate transport of lab supplies, equipment, and specimens.
