Canton, GA Lead Medical Technologist. At MLee Healthcare, we are seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to come and lead a dynamic laboratory team in a clinical setting at a Hospital System in the Atlanta, GA area. Developing and communicating learning objectives to staff regarding procedures and proper use of instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor test results produced by self and others adhere to established policies and are complete and verified for accuracy.
2. Demonstrates technical expertise regarding test systems and operation of instruments, consistently demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills by sorting through technical issues.
3. Evaluate and document staff competency according to regulatory and accreditation requirements prior to implementation of procedural or instrument changes and reporting of patients results.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
2. Management Experience Preferred
3. 3 years of Experience in a Clinical Setting
4. MT or MLT Certified
5. ASCP or AMT Certified
6. BLS
