The incumbent will serve as Lead Medical Support Assistant in Primary Care (Ambulatory Care North) within Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. The role includes acting as a liaison between patients and clinical staff and serving as a knowledge reference for Ambulatory Care North.

GS-07 level with potential for staff development and coordination across multiple clinics to ensure efficient access to care. Sedentary work with occasional travel between sites and meetings may be required.

Qualifikationen

• United States citizenship required; non-citizens allowed only per VA policy.
• No experience required.
• High school diploma, GED, or state/provincial proficiency certificate.
• Proficient in spoken and written English per 38 U.S.C. § 7403(f).
• Work may be sedentary with occasional movement between offices and meetings.
