Barrow Brain and Spine in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a capable lead for Administrative Operations to support neurosurgery teams. You will manage patient flow, EMR entries, scheduling, and coordination with Care Coordinators.

The role requires 2 years lead experience in medical settings, strong communication, and organizational skills to ensure accurate billing, timely referrals, and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree a plus.
• 2 years of Lead experience in medical setting required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Passionate about creating a superior patient experience and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Registers new patients in the EMR and schedules appointments.
• Oversees daily workflow of the physician’s office and supports the physician and Care Coordinator.
• Manages staff schedules and approves timesheets and PTO requests.
• Manages physician schedules and travel arrangements and ensures calendar accuracy.
• Obtains insurance authorization for surgeries per hospital guidelines.
• Schedules surgeries and outpatient testing; maintains patient recalls.
• Trains new Care Coordinators on registration, scheduling, vitals, and orders.
• Prepares billings and codes office charges; supports compliance program and ambassadors of patient care.
• Supports Practice Manager in resolving operational issues and fosters cross-team collaboration.
