Job summary

This role will mentor staff, provide guidance, and lead interpretation efforts across departments.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in translation and interpretation with hospital interpreting experience and certifications (CHI or CMI within 548 days).

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of interpreting and hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees daily work in Interpreter Services.
• Mentors staff and promotes professionalism within the department.
• Performs medical interpretation (consecutive, sight translation, and interpreting for complex cases).
• Collaborates with hospital staff to connect patients and families to resources.
