Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations under the Director of Clinical Services. The Lead MA will coordinate patient flow, document encounters in the EMR, and assist clinicians with procedures and education.

The role requires at least 3 years of MA experience in a clinic, MA certification, and CPR/BLS; bilingual abilities are a plus. This is a senior clinical position in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Medical Assistant certification required; CPR and BLS preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or 5 years’ MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under DOCS supervision throughout the visit and visit process.
• Document clinical and demographic information accurately in the EMR.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient education as directed.
• Perform clerical duties including lab results, referrals, and chart maintenance.
