Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant to support the clinical team under the DOCS. The role blends clinical supervision, documentation in EMR, and patient flow coordination during visits.

The Lead MA will assist with procedures, training of new staff, vaccine management, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring patient-centered care and compliance with vaccination protocols and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years with Clinic as a Medical Assistant or 5 years as an MA.
• Competent knowledge of EHR System and documentation.
• Completed training for vaccination protocols; ability to precept new employees.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and critical thinking.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill patient care responsibilities for all populations; manage patient flow and exam readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR per procedures.
• Assist with telephone follow-up and follow-up on care plans.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with provider procedures; document results.
• Train staff on equipment use and clinic protocols; ensure inventory and supplies.
